Toys University Africa, based on Ogudu Road in Lagos, delivers this training through online courses and toys training seminars in Nigeria. What Does a Play Expert Do?A play expert uses toys with a clear purpose, so every play session builds a specific skill. Instead of handing out random toys, a trained play specialist matches each toy to a goal like counting, language or teamwork.UNICEF describes learning through play as a core strategy for teaching young children. Trained toys experts in Africa bring that idea into real classrooms every day.Who Should Train as a Play Specialist?Anyone who uses toys to teach, support or care for children should train as a play specialist. The training suits:Nursery and primary school teachersPlay centre and toy library staffPlay therapists and child counsellorsParents who run learning at homeToy shop owners who advise familiesHow Do Toys Support Play Therapy?Toys support play therapy by giving children a safe way to show feelings they cannot yet put into words.
