We evaluated liver fibrosis using the Fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) index and kidney function using the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of all subjects. All subjects were divided into four groups on the basis of their FIB-4 score quartiles (low to high). In the Jonckheere-Terpstra trend test of Study 1, the eGFR decreased significantly from the lowest group to the highest group (p less then 0.001). The Kaplan-Meier survival curve in Study 2 showed that the cumulative prevalence of CKD stage 3-5 was higher in the third quartile than the other quartiles. A total of 8145 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, including 729 transcription factors (TFs). Volatile organic compounds in exhaled breath were measured with electronic nose technology (Aeonose™) during SCS on and off states. Random forest was used with a leave-10%-out cross-validation method to determine accuracy of discriminating between SCS on and off states. The purpose of this study is to investigate the dependence of polymer solar cells' performance on the concentration of Sb2S3 nanocrystals. The effect of the Sb2S3 nanocrystal concentrations (0.01, 0.02, 0.03, and 0.04 mg/mL) in the polymer's active layer was determined using different characterization techniques. X-ray diffraction (XRD) displayed doped ratio dependences of P3HT crystallite orientations of P3HT crystallites inside a block polymer film. Introducing Sb2S3 NCs increased the light harvesting and regulated the energy levels, improving the electronic parameters. Therefore, in this study, the complete sequences of the chloroplast genomes of the three most recognized members of the Pinus mugo complex, i.e., Pinus mugo, Pinus rotundata and Pinus uncinata, were sequenced and analyzed to gain new insight into their phylogenetic relationships. Comparative analysis of their complete chloroplast genome sequences revealed several mutational hotspots potentially useful for the genetic identification of taxa from the Pinus mugo complex. Phylogenetic inference based on sixteen complete chloroplast genomes of different coniferous representatives showed that pines from the Pinus mugo complex form one distinct monophyletic group.
