Together with these results, our haplotype analysis results indicate that the haplotypes of the CXCR2 and CXCR1-CXCR2 polymorphic loci are different in the BD and HCs. Our study suggests that the polymorphisms of CXCR1, CXCR2 and CXCL5 may affect the susceptibility to BD and increase the risk of developing disease.
