PA assessments and anthropometric measurements were made at baseline, 4 th, 7 th and 13 th months. Mixed model analysis was done to assess the difference in PA levels between groups at various time points. Results The proportion of women who were physically active (≥600 MET minutes per week) was significantly higher in the intervention arm compared to the control arm at 4 th (58.5 % vs 10%, p= 0.001), 7 th (48.5% vs 6%, p= 0.001)) and 13 th month (29.6 % vs 0.6%, p =0.001), respectively. Improvements from baseline PA expended by the intervention arm compared to the control arm in MET-min / week were 990, 575, and 466 at 4 th, 7 th and 13 th months, respectively. Conclusions A PA intervention using peer support was found to be effective among women in India. Improvements in PA in the intervention arm decreased over time particularly after the no-intervention phase indicating the need for integrating it with community organizations.Periarterial sympathectomy and arterial bypass are microsurgical techniques which the literature suggests can provide improvement in digital pain and ulceration in patients with systemic sclerosis (SSc) who have persistent symptoms despite medication management. This review summarizes the relevant anatomy, medical therapies, operative techniques, and surgical outcomes and complications associated with the management of the vascular manifestations of SSc in the hand. Multidisciplinary collaboration between dermatology, rheumatology, and hand surgery can facilitate optimal medical and surgical management for SSc patients.Medical student education has not been immune to life altering changes of the global Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Pre-pandemic anxiety and mental health concerns were already a significant problem in the world of medical student education. Educators are reformulating strategies to address the increased demand for mental health services and wellness during COVID-19. Adaptations include increased and varied internal and student focused communication, as well as new support structures built around student connection and coaching, mental illness, and general wellness. Additional alterations to student support include expanded mental health counseling and also incorporating novel wellness events in an effort to support thriving during COVID-19. Moral resilience has recently been proposed as one strategy to address moral distress in nurses and nursing students. Central to nursing students' capacity for moral resilience is how they understood and enact resilience with an element of realism, suggesting an ethical, ideological influence. Resilience is shown to differ significantly across students, and possibly because of a disconnect between a students' perceived resilience and their ethical ideology. Yet, resilience seldom has been explored in relation to ethical ideology. This study aims to explore self-reported resilience in relation to ethical ideology in undergraduate nursing students, compare differences in scores, and explore relationships between study variables and selected demographic characteristics. A descriptive cross-sectional research design was followed. An online encrypted survey was conducted among a convenient sample of nursing undergraduates who met the eligibility criteria and provided implied informed consent. This study compal self-reflection and dialogue to critically examine their ethical ideological perspectives and the influence these may have on moral resilience development. Implications for future research are discussed.Findings suggest that faculty cultivating resilience in nursing students pays attention to gender's influence discourses in students' perceptions of resilience and ethical ideology and provides students with opportunities for ethical self-reflection and dialogue to critically examine their ethical ideological perspectives and the influence these may have on moral resilience development. Implications for future research are discussed. An HLA imputation was conducted to explore the relationship between HLA and patients with moyamoya disease (MMD) in the Chinese Han population. In this study, we performed an association analysis of the major histocompatibility complex region in 2,786 individuals of Chinese Han ancestry (2,031 controls and 755 patients with MMD), through a widely used HLA imputation method. We identified that the variant rs3129731 (odds ratio [OR] = 1.79, = 3.69 × 10 ) located between the and is a major genetic risk factor for MMD. In addition to this variant, found in the conditional association analysis, we also detected another independent signal, rs1071817 (OR = 0.62, = 1.20 × 10 ), in HLA-B. Our research suggests that the genetic polymorphism of and could be a genetic predisposing factor for MMD in Chinese Han. This may provide some evidence for further HLA-related studies of patients with MMD of Chinese Han ethnicity and indicates that MMD is an immune-related disease. Our research suggests that the genetic polymorphism of HLA-DQA2 and HLA-B could be a genetic predisposing factor for MMD in Chinese Han. This may provide some evidence for further HLA-related studies of patients with MMD of Chinese Han ethnicity and indicates that MMD is an immune-related disease. Primary hypophysitis refers to the isolated inflammation of the pituitary gland not associated with other secondary causes. Among its histopathologic subtypes, xanthomatous is the rarest. We describe a 22-year-old woman with xanthomatous hypophysitis (XH), its clinical progression over 8 years as well as the treatment effects of prednisolone and azathioprine. Our patient was first referred for severe short stature and delayed puberty at the age of 14 years. Investigations revealed multiple pituitary deficiencies. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a pituitary mass whereby a partial resection was performed. BMS-536924 A full resection was not feasible due to the location of the mass. The histopathologic analysis of the tissue was consistent with XH. The results of secondary workout for neoplasm, infection, autoimmune, and inflammatory disorders were negative. After surgery, a progressive enlargement of the mass was observed. Two courses of prednisolone were administered with a significant reduction in the mass size.
