This research, leveraging the natural resource-based view perspective, examines a model that explores the interplay between green supply chain management practices, green culture, top management commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, and firm performance. Using 600 survey questionnaires gathered from manufacturing firms, a structural equation model (SEM) was employed to evaluate the hypotheses. Firm performance is indirectly linked to green supply chain management, with green culture and top management commitment as intervening factors, according to the analysis. screening libraries The results highlight a positive and statistically significant mediating effect of green culture and top management commitment on the connection between green supply chain management and firm performance. The study, in addition, demonstrates a direct effect of OCBE on the performance of the organization. Subsequently, the data reveals that OCBE acts as a positive moderator in the correlation between green supply chain management and firm performance. Lastly, the implications of the study's findings are showcased as effective policy tools for organizations, governmental bodies, and other concerned parties. The current research investigated how barrages affect the ecological function of the subtropical river Ganga, with phytoplankton functional groups (FGs) as the analytical tool. A study of phytoplankton populations identified 101 different species, featuring 20 functional groups with prevalence exceeding 50% in samples of MP and D. The higher prevalence of FGs such as N, A, and J, at times, revealed advantageous seasonal and spatial patterns, underscoring the unpredictability of exogenous inputs from catchment areas. Non-metric multidimensional scaling (NMDS), applied to phytoplankton functional group (FG) similarities, demonstrated significant geographical and seasonal differences. Our research demonstrates a link between the elevated concentration of chemical components in Kanpur and the diminished water discharge from prior reservoirs, which created a stretch of highly polluted water that shows spatial differences. During the monsoon season, while precipitation and surface runoff diluted the water, the resultant water quality significantly improved. The presence of a series of dams led us to hypothesize that the hydrological characteristics of interconnected reservoirs are altered, a phenomenon correlated with the spatial and seasonal variations in phytoplankton functional group diversity. These phytoplankton functional groups might serve as useful bioindicators of water quality. In closing, the phytoplankton FGs approach demonstrates utility in recognizing geographical and seasonal facets of aquatic ecosystems significantly impacted by human intervention, but the need for further research into its response to shifts in spatial and seasonal water quality persists. The COVID-19 pandemic's imperative was the mandatory use of medical masks for public protection. The improper disposal of disposable face masks has unfortunately exacerbated marine pollution, impacting water quality and contributing to a decrease in aquatic microorganism populations. An investigation was undertaken to evaluate the effect of disposable mask waste on the quality of fresh water and microalgae biomass growth. Four 10-liter glass reactors were set up to monitor the effect of three months of controlled conditions on disposable masks. These reactors held either fresh water or water enriched with algal Chlorella sp. and its growth supplements (Chlorella medium), with the masks either untreated or treated with Enterococcus faecalis. Water quality analysis, along with spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and proximate lipid and protein analysis, provided a means to evaluate the quality of water and biomass yields. Several water quality indicators, including chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological oxygen demand (BOD), dissolved oxygen (DO), and pH, experienced alterations due to the presence of disposable masks cultivated in either fresh water or a Chlorella growth medium. Microplastic identification procedures demonstrated the presence of fibers in water samples subjected to a 100-day treatment process. FTIR analysis served to pinpoint the evolution of crucial organic functional groups. A notable finding was the disappearance of a peak at 1530 cm⁻¹, indicative of primary protein (C-N) bonds, coupled with the appearance of peaks at 1651 cm⁻¹ (methyl alcohol, CH₂OH) and 1270 cm⁻¹ (ketone, C=O). Fragmentation of disposable masks negatively affected the quality of biomass. Chlorella sp. displayed compromised surface membrane integrity, as evident from the SEM study. Living organisms are composed of cells, the tiny yet powerful engines of life's processes. Disposable masks, overall, contributed to a decline in water quality, hindering microalgae growth and causing damage. Accordingly, a used disposable mask, teeming with various types of microbes, may represent a severe environmental threat.Green technology innovation is bolstered by national innovation demonstration zones (NIIDZ), which are a standard part of regional innovation policy. Examining the intricate relationship between NIIDZ and green technology innovation holds substantial practical value for bolstering China's independent innovation capacity and propelling ecological civilization construction. Using a difference-in-differences (DID) framework, we examine the effect of NIIDZ on green technology innovation, measured in terms of both quantity and quality, across a panel of 280 cities between 2005 and 2020. NIIDZ's contribution to the quantity and quality of green technology innovation (GTI) is evident in the results, particularly its contribution to the quality of GTI. The conclusion holds true even after rigorous robustness checks, such as PSM-DID and the removal of disruptive influences from innovative pilot cities. The study of the intermediary mechanism demonstrates that regional innovation policy has the power to directly propel GTI and GTQ, as well as indirectly encourage these outcomes through the acceleration of talent recruitment, the development of industrial clusters, and the enhancement of government financial support. A spatial heterogeneity analysis of regional innovation policies showcases a decreasing effect from east to west, and this positive influence is concentrated in areas with high financial development. To further support green innovation in the NIIDZ, our research offers critical policy guidance for the Chinese government, accelerating the creation of an innovative nation and enabling high-quality green economic progress. The practice of ecological function zoning is fundamental to scientifically managing ecosystems. Control measures based on ecological function zoning are vital for environmental stewardship, promoting ecological preservation, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of ecological systems. This study, spanning 2018, used the Nansi Lake Basin as its cross-sectional area of analysis. For the purpose of evaluating and determining the value of five ecosystem services—water yield, agricultural output, soil conservation, carbon storage, and carbon sequestration, alongside habitat quality—the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs model was implemented. The application of the Self-Organizing Feature Maps neural network facilitated the derivation of ecosystem service bundles, followed by the delineation of ecological function zones. Observations suggest a gradual decrease in the spatial pattern of ecosystem services from east to west across the studied area. The results of the study highlighted the uneven distribution of ecosystem services in the Nansi Lake Basin, exhibiting a clear westward decrease, particularly concerning soil conservation, carbon sequestration, and habitat quality. Analyzing the supply and spatial distribution of each ecosystem service, the Nansi Lake Basin was delineated into four ecological functional zones, comprising the eastern ecological surplus zone, the central crop supply zone, the western ecological balance zone, and the lake habitat protection zone. In zone I, provisioning and regulatory services exhibited a harmonious relationship. For zones II and III, the provisioning service operated in a manner dependent on the regulatory and supporting services, creating a trade-off situation. Supporting services within zone IV required compromises, impacting not only provisioning but also regulating services. The Nansi Lake Basin's ecosystem services primarily demonstrated trade-offs rather than synergies, leading to comparatively diminished overall advantages. This study, situated within the context of ecosystem service bundles at the county level, assessed the trade-offs and synergies among ecosystem services in the Nansi Lake Basin. This analysis produced a management plan for the region and provided pertinent recommendations regarding regional habitat conservation and restoration.Femoral neck fracture (FNF) patients undergoing hip hemiarthroplasty (HHA) prioritize the minimization of complications, given the substantial morbidity and mortality. A comparative meta-analysis of the direct anterior approach (DAA) versus alternative surgical methods for HHA evaluated the clinical and functional outcomes.Studies employing DAA on HHA-treated FNFs were evaluated through meta-analysis, in contrast to a combined group of all other surgical methods, and further broken down into distinct subgroup analyses. Outcomes assessed included the aggregate complication rate, mortality rate, dislocation rate, the frequency of reoperations, periprosthetic fracture rate, infection incidence, length of hospital stay (LOS), mobility status, perioperative blood loss volume, surgical procedure duration, and patient-reported postoperative pain.Nineteen studies, conforming to the inclusion criteria, reported a total of 2018 HHAs. DAA's application resulted in a statistically significant reduction in the overall complication rate (OR = 0.73, 95% CI 0.57-0.94, p = 0.001), the rate of dislocation (OR = 0.34, 95% CI 0.15-0.77, p = 0.001), and length of stay (LOS) (MD = -1.31 days, 95% CI -2.12 to -0.50, p = 0.0002).
